I want to start my own business by selling beaded jewelry I make. How can I do thata I just turned 13. I heard that my cousin who is a month younger than me has opened his own business providing manicure / pedicure / massage and family / friends and charging money. I want to do the same thing, but I want to sell beaded bracelets that I make to friends, family and people who just like things with beads. Are there any good websites that will teach me how to make my own small businessa For free.
Ask your cousin what she did to start his own.
A thought comes to mind, though - when someone buys a manicure they need again in a week or two. But when someone buys a bracelet, they have a bracelet, and may not need to buy another. So, your cousin has a business that generates regular customers, which is a great plan.
The same types of 'jobs' would walk the dogs, babysitting, etc., things that must be done repeatedly, so you do not have to continue to find new customers.
That said, if you like making jewelry, and want to see how it goes, you can determine what to charge for parts, taking into consideration the cost of supplies (beads, wire, findings, etc.) and adding something to your decision time. However, I would not recommend doing too much of a financial investment until you see how it goes.
Good luck!
Well, Ebay is your best bet at this point. you can set up a shop ebay, good luck
as for making beads and fabrics, you can go to a bookstore and look under crafts / hobbies. you can see instructions on how to make these beads.
As for the sale, ebay would be the best option

Dear Sabrina, why not consult your local librarya Most sites will not be much, its better to get a free book from the library. You can check online and compare the book you want, then book it theyll hold it for you or you can go down and see for yourself. its really not that much time. All is not available on the Web in particular Free Stuff-it usually comes with a price and so little free. Not much good advice for free thats been my experience!
I suggest starting with ebay or Etsy. Or you could build a gallery of your offers on Photobucket and then after around the internet for people to discover your "store".
Good luck, hope you find success!
