Living Will Registry

Posted on October 5, 2010.
Living Will RegistryIf you are a CNA and work in assisted living facility in Iowa, you will be removed from the state registrya

I just passed my state boards yesterday and accepted a job as NA (nursing aid) in an assisted living home. Will I be removed from the register because I do not work as a CNA because I work in assisted livinga

No, you are still working as a CNA. To maintain your certification, you must work something like 20 hours per year to maintain your certification, and even then, you just check a box on a form that says you've worked these hours (you do not say where). Your certification is safe

No.

I am an RN, but if I decide to go to work as Garbage Man, but keep my license so I am still an RN.

All you have to do is meet your requirements on states to maintain your certification and you are well.
