How long does an attorney in Louisiana last when the deceaseda I live in Louisiana I had a power of attorney for my father's assets, but he died in February this year, everything is in power right now, I can still use it.
I think an attorney to give you the right to manage the affairs of a person when they are incapacitated, but alive. After death, this is not good any longer. I live in Louisiana, but I'm not a lawyer.
