Why the New Testament originally written in Greek, if the whole region was ruled by Romans speaking Latina Should not the original New Testament have been in Latina
The Greek was the language of education. Most of the rulers of that time were paid so that there can be communication between heads of state. You can thank Alexander for that.

People have written in Hebrew, Koine Greek and Latin at the time. Hebrew was the language of the Jews, early Christians were not of Roman origin, but Greek. Throughout the NT, the "good guys" who spoke mainly Greeks.
