It does not seem to be too much software available for writing your own patent. I wonder if anyone has experience with either (or both) Patent comfortable .... and patentpro. I see NOLO patentpro used to offer, but not anymore ... I wonder if it's because she did not meet quality standards NOLOa Any advice would be appreciated.

I would not use myself. Spend money on a good patent search first.
