Starting a painting businessa Hello I am an amateur painter house ... I love painting and I painted the interior in my own house and those of relatives and friends. I recently decided to start my own painting business, but I do not really know where to start. I want to learn more about faux finishes in particular. Should I take lessonsa Also, where can I find more information on the measures to the load, etc. ..a Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
Opening your own painting business is big business with low startup cost! The best advice I can give is practice, practice, practice and learn from your mistakes.
Faux finishing classes are a must for beginners. faux finishing techniques are available on the programs of decoration, online, and many other places. But these are "beginner" technology designed to do-it-yourself to use in their homes. True "Faux" use more advanced techniques that take into practice, but in the end look more professional and can even save time.
Most classes can also offer advice and information on the operation of a new business. All faux finishes are "new owners" at any given time, and learned the same way we all did. They will also have a great idea of what to charge and how to do business.
more detailed instructions on starting your own business of faux painting can be found at http://www.how-to-faux-finish.com/start- ...

good luck
since you call yourself a frame, you can work as an employee for someone else for a while before you start your own account, as there is much to know, and your customers expect a high quality, this is true in painting in general and more in the wrong in the classroom .... Forgeries are a must ... see if someone in your area gives courses sanctioned by the international effects of false ... or they have their own school in Vero Beach FL. they are the gold standard of fake schools. Faux is difficult to enter, you must compile a before and after portfolio of your work and not for designers like most fake worl through designers.Back to painting in general, baisics you need to know how are stain, seal and polish wood, how to ride well, be good with a brush to cut in the well, how to enamel and spray paint and repair drywall baisic. That should get you started. Good Luck ..... painting contractor for 20 years.
