Texas Child Laws

Where can I find information on the laws of Texas Child Support. I have a friend who pays her soon ex-wife alimony directly and he wondered if this would be considered child support once he goes to court. If someone has a good site I could watch, I'd be very appriecate.

Here try your state judicial website. That's where I got my information when I had to go through child custody and support, which is public information. Your friend should pay for itself by spending time through the information found on this website before hiring a lawyer in this way, they'll know if has hired a lawyer or non-decent by being able to speak "lawyer talk. A little knowledge goes a long loooong!

BTW - I did not pay a lawyer and I am not a lawyer, I did a small study of self and did it myself. Therefore, I paid close to $ 5,000 or more!
